AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
Announced:27-08-2008
This compact and affordable 5.8x zoom NIKKOR lens offers remarkable versatility and covers a broad focal range of 18 to 105mm. When mounted on any DX-format Nikon digital SLR camera, the picture angle is equivalent to that produced by a 27 to 157.5mm focal length lens on a 35mm-format film camera or Nikon FX-format camera.

An ultra-compact Silent Wave Motor (SWM) built into the lens body ensures fast, quiet and accurate autofocus operation and complements the compact design for superb handling. Nikon's VR (Vibration Reduction) function, specifically engineered for each NIKKOR lens, gives photographers the ability to shoot handheld at shutter speeds up to three stops* slower than would otherwise be possible, thereby minimizing image blur caused by camera shake and delivering dramatically sharper pictures, especially in low-light conditions such as in interiors and at twilight.

AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
Announced:06-07-2002
With the modification of other AF Nikkor lenses from S-type to D-type, the entire AF Nikkor lineup is now comprised of D-type and G-type lenses.

This D-type Nikkor lens, like all other Nikkor D- and G-type lenses, relays subject-to-camera distance information to AF Nikon camera bodies. This then makes possible advances like 3D Matrix Metering and 3D Multi-Sensor Balanced Fill-Flash.

The lens delivers superior optical performance thanks to the incorporation of high-grade Nikon Super Integrated Coating.

AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED
Announced:29-01-2008
The AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED lens allows photographers to shoot 1:1 life-size close-ups without the need for additional accessories.

To ensure superior picture quality at all subject distances from macro to infinity, a host of state-of-the-art, Nikon original optical features and technologies are incorporated. Internal Focusing (IF) design allows faster, smoother autofocusing. Two aspherical lenses are employed to correct spherical aberration and coma. The incorporation of a Nikon’s exclusive Nano Crystal Coat dramatically reduces ghosting and flare caused by internal reflections. An additional ED glass element minimizes chromatic aberration to deliver higher resolution, high-contrast images. All of these factors contribute to the extremely accurate image reproduction capability of the AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED.
